BRAND PARTNERSHIP PROPOSAL

OVERVIEW:

Monogram, in its efforts to market its products to consumers, needs to reach as many existing and potential customers as possible. Partnering with YouTube influencers not only allows Monogram to increase sales but it also allows them to tap into the trust that exists between content creators, their audience and, better yet, their community.

Trust & brand loyalty can be developed with influencer marketing quickly. When a trusted YouTuber demonstrates how a product solves pain points and teaches their audience & community how to use a Monogram product, their video not only becomes a customer service/satisfaction resource, it creates a powerful connection between a new audience and Monogram. The desired outcome of this connection is threefold: increased revenue from sales, brand awareness & lift, and, more importantly, an opportunity for Monogram to continue to build their own community.

This relationship between influencers and their community also gets Monogram access to customers’ valuable information, particularly email addresses, so Monogram can then market their products and promotions to consumers directly via email and social media. With Evergreen & tutorial videos like the ones I produce having a long shelf life on YouTube, Monogram can continually access new audiences via these videos for several years to come.

OPTION 1 | 60-90 SECOND AD SPOT

Matthew O’Brien produces a video about a related topic: a Final Cut Pro tutorial or “5 MUST HAVE Apps That SAVE TIME For Content Creators”. In this video, we run a 60-90 second ad spot that hits all the major value propositions for Monogram’s products with my own personal experience added in.

I just produced an ad spot for Anker for their docking station product last month. Skip ahead to the 1:47 mark to view it.

OPTION 2 | HOW I USE MY CONSOLE & WHY I LOVE IT

In this vid I’ll go deep into the most painful part of my post-production process: color correction & grading. What exactly causes me pain? Adding color effects in FCP, using my Magic Trackpad to adjust the Color Wheels sliders and wheels, and quickly dialing in exposure, contrast, and correct skin tones.

These pain points make me DREAD the color correction and grading phase of creating my YouTube vids.

But the Monogram Video Console not only solves those pain points for me, it also makes me LOOK FORWARD to grading and correcting. It makes it fun because it makes it so easy.

I’ll also take a look at the two Essential Keys modules I have and program those with complex keyboard shortcuts that are reduced to a single button push.

Examples:

Two buttons for switching angles of my multi-cam. One that cycles the angles to the left, one that cycles them to the right.

Two buttons for the Option + [ and Option + ] keyboard shortcuts that let me FLY through my edits.

I’ll program one button for that takes the Option + G shortcut for making Compound Clips and reduces it to a single button push.

The last button will be programmed with the Control + T keyboard shortcut that adds a default title to my timeline.

I’ll also program one of my dial modules for adjusting the volume of a selected clip or a selected range.

There are a few other options for the remaining dials that I need to figure out, but I’ll get those programmed as well.

This video will explain why a Video Console is an important tool for content creators, it will demonstrate to viewers exactly how I use it, and then it will both invite the viewer to purchase a Video Console at a discount using my link, as well as accessing my custom profile on the Monogram website. My video will be, in essence, a one-stop shop for learning why and how to use the console, how to buy it, and how to be up and running as soon as you turn it on. I’ll also be sure to touch on having to install Monogram’s Creator app as well as CommandPost.

SAMPLE VIDEO

This video is all about how I use Apple’s Sidecar feature on my 14” M1 Pro MacBook Pro with my iPad mini 6th Gen. Over 14k views, 478 likes, and 92 comments. This is one of my top performing videos from the last 6 months.

OPTION 3 | CUSTOM STAND + HOW I USE IT + WHY I LOVE IT

Everything from Option 2, but in addition to it we pepper in a story of me trying to create a custom stand for my Video Console that raises it up and tilts it toward me so I can use it even MORE efficiently. I’ll set up at the top of the video that I’m taking on the challenge of creating this custom stand and giving the audience some drama - can I actually make the thing? Will it turn out how I envisioned? Will it improve my use of the console?

And in between showing the creation of this custom stand, I’ll be going in-depth with how I use it with Final Cut Pro and why I love it.

Consider this an epic long form video that really connects with the viewers and members of my community who are most likely to invest $799 into the Video Console.

SAMPLE VIDEO

This is my first example of what I’d consider an epic long-form video. I did a deep dive into what makes footage “cinematic”, and I showed how FilmConvert Nitrate is an essential plug-in for filmmakers who want to emulate motion picture film. This vid converted 5 sales in its first day, and I’ll be checking in with FilmConvert to see what additional sales have been made for the month of July. This video demonstrates that even with fewer views and likes, a strong community around a creator can lead to quality sales conversions.
