“M2 Pro Mac mini Live Unboxing + YouTube Shorts Final Cut Pro Editing Breakdown”

OVERVIEW

I produce a weekly livestream on my channel that centers around topics pertaining to Apple hardware and Apple’s video editing software Final Cut Pro. I have several segments that make up an episode:

Final Cut Pro Tip of the Week | In this segment I demo a tip in Final Cut Pro that many of my viewers may not know about.

Vid Recs | In this segment, I show viewers my recent YouTube viewing history and discuss 4 to 5 videos about Apple tech, Final Cut Pro, or other topics I find valuable to my audience.

Channel News | This segment isn’t included in every livestream, but it typically involves me updating my viewers on any big developments pertaining to the channel. This could be new hardware I’m acquiring, a discussion about upcoming videos, changes to my release schedule, etc.

The “Core Topic” | This segment corresponds to the video title for the livestream. This is where I’ll spend roughly 30 minutes discussing the core topic and bringing in comments from chat that pertain to it.

Hang Out In Chat | In this segment - usually toward the end of the show - I invite viewers to ask questions, answer polls, and hang out with me as we look at what’s going on in the world of Apple Tech and video editing in Final Cut Pro.

Matthew O’Brien | Live on YouTube | Receiving a SuperChat from a viewer in order to give advice on his specific situation with an Apple product

SPONSORSHIP PACKAGES

OPTION 1

In this package the sponsorship will be announced at the top and end of the show with a full-screen image of the company’s logo or branding. It can also include a URL or social media handle.

“This livestream is sponsored by Kramerica Industries. For over 40 years Kramerica Industries has revolutionized how businesses access supply chain resources, allowing them to save time, increase profits, and drive innovation. To learn more about Kramerica Industries, please visit kramerica.com"

In this package the sponsor will have their branding displayed on a monitor that’s visible in a secondary video angle. I will, at regular intervals, cut to this secondary video angle during the livestream so that viewers can see a monitor in frame that prominently displays the sponsor’s logo or branding.

This is the secondary angle in my livestreams, and I’m currently using a 21.5” iMac to display graphics related to the subject matter of my streams.

Sponsor may provide an exclusive discount or promo code to my viewers. It is strongly encouraged that the promo code be for at least 15% off - as opposed to the standard 10% - in order to feel like a meaningful discount that’s not the “YouTube standard” that many of my viewers commonly see. It’s okay to limit the promo code to a certain time frame or to a certain amount of redemptions.

OPTION 2

Same as above package but there will be an additional 30 second mid-roll sponsor read accompanied by video of the sponsor’s website showing their product or service in action. A voice-over recorded by me will communicate the value proposition of the sponsor, what products or services to check out, pricing, and how to learn more or purchase.

These video spots are produced in advance of my livestream broadcast and can be reviewed by the sponsor before they’re aired. This happens in several stages:

  1. Script

  2. Sponsor Notes / Revisions

  3. Video First Draft

  4. Sponsor Notes / Revisions

  5. Final Video

It is possible that in some situations the sponsorship segment will be executed live instead of using a pre-recorded video.

OPTION 3

Same as above package but the sponsorship segment will be 45 seconds.

Product / Service Giveaway | Sponsor will provide their product or access to their service for free to a viewer. We can do a single giveaway or multiples.

Key advantage of a Giveaway is there’s more air time and focus on the sponsor during the giveaway process, and you have the potential to create a new ambassador for your brand via the individual who wins the product/service giveaway.

ANALYTICS

Livestreams typically draw 20 - 40 viewers at a time while overall views for a livestream in replay hover around 1.5k.

My nine most recent livestreams on YouTube with views ranging from 600 to 32,000.

Some spontaneous livestreams centered around breaking Apple or Final Cut Pro news can attract many more viewers while live as well as many more viewers during replay.

My video breaking down the last update to Final Cut Pro (where I went live about the news within 30 mins of the update being released) has had significant views in replay - over 32k.

Another Final Cut Pro Update video performs well - 17.7k views. My livestream about the M2 MacBook Air for video editing also performed above expectations with nearly 10k views.

Live editing livestreams attract quite a few viewers, especially while live. Replay performs quite well. Two live editing streams I did have between 4.5k and 6.2k views.

Both of my live editing livestreams attracted significantly more live viewers than my traditional livestreams, and they also perform well in replay.
